The European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) is the independent civil society platform of European NGOs, networks of NGOs and think tanks which are committed to peacebuilding and the prevention of violent conflict.
22/11/2017: EPLO published a statement entitled ‘Supporting Youth, Peace and Security in the renewed AU-EU Partnership‘. The purpose of this statement is to provide suggestions to enhance the European Union’s support to youth, peace and security in the framework of the AU-EU Partnership, in particular in the context of the Joint Africa-EU Strategy’s ‘Peace and Security’ priority area.
25/09/2017: The EPLO office is sad to hear about the passing of Ms Nancy Dupree earlier this month. We had the honour of hosting her for a Brown Bag Lunch discussion in Brussels in December 2015.
21/09/2017: To mark the International Day of Peace, EPLO has signed a statement together with 131 peacebuilding organisations around the globe calling for greater commitment to the 2030 Agenda and to sustaining peace.
EPLO has 33 member organisations from 13 European countries (10 EU Member States plus Kosovo, Norway and Switzerland). EPLO’s members are individual NGOs, networks of NGOs, and think tanks.
