The European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) and the EU Afghanistan Peace Support Mechanism (EU APSM) would like to invite you to a one-day seminar on the Afghan Peace Process, which will take place on Thursday 5 March 2020 in Brussels.

This seminar will bring together representatives of Afghan civil society, INGOs operating in Afghanistan, victims, ulema and business associations, to discuss the status of the peace process and the situation in the country. It will furthermore provide an opportunity to discuss how the EU and the international community at large can be a constructive and supportive force in generating a more inclusive peace process. The event will feature high-level panels with prominent representatives from the international community and NGOs, as well as delegates from other country contexts who have experienced inclusive and non-inclusive peace processes.
