The European Commission (EC) is in the process of rolling out its new system for the management
and monitoring of EU actions: OPSYS.

OPSYS is ‘the new one-stop shop for the effective and efficient management of the entire EU
external relations portfolio of projects and programmes (actions) throughout the project cycle’.

As part of the ongoing roll-out, the EC is organising a number of briefings for OPSYS users (i.e. EC,
partner countries and implementing partners). In this context, it has asked the European
Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) to organise a small-scale Civil Society Dialogue Network
(CSDN) Funding Instruments Meeting (FIM) on OPSYS and its implications for the management of
grants which are provided to civil society actors through the Instrument contributing to Stability and
Peace (IcSP).
