‘Digital Vulnerability and E-Security Strategies’ is part of a webinar series on M&E and Ethics in the Digital Age which DME for Peace are hosting.
DME for Peace is a global community of practitioners, evaluators, donors, and academics who share best and emerging practices on how to design, monitor, and evaluate peacebuilding programs. Through greater collaboration and transparency we hope to increase the effectiveness of the peacebuilding field.
In this Talk Rahel will cover basic concerns around digital vulnerability in peacebuilding, development, and human rights contexts. The talk will also lay out concepts that can help inform an e-security strategy – including threat models, digital self-determinacy, consent, privacy, and digital rights. All of this discussion will be rooted in practical examples from Rahel’s own work.
