Peace Direct and Principles for Peace will host a two-day online consultation on Peace Structures and Local Ownership on 1-2 March 2022, using the text-based Platform4Dialogue. While national-level peace structures structures are critical to building the foundations of trust and accountability, they are often not well connected with grassroots peace processes. This conversation will share how to effectively engage peacemakers and local communities in these structures. The consultation will be available in English and French. Participants who speak Spanish and Arabic will be able to use the automatic translation function.
