Marie Lena Groenewald – Policy Officer, EPLO

Marie Lena joined EPLO in December 2022. She coordinates EPLO’s work on Gender, Peace and Security and supports EPLO’s work on the climate crisis and conflict sensitivity.

Prior to joining EPLO, Marie Lena gained work experiences at the Berghof Foundation, forumZFD, the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the EU office of the Ministry of Education and Research, Goethe-Institute Cyprus, and the University of Tübingen.

She has completed a Master’s Degree in Peace Research and International Relations at the University of Tübingen.
