EPLO has adopted its Strategic and Policy Objectives for the period 2020–2025, setting out the priorities that will guide the network’s work over the coming years. The framework reflects EPLO’s commitment to strengthening the role of peacebuilding and conflict prevention in the European Union’s external action.
The strategy identifies several areas where EPLO will focus its efforts. These include reinforcing the narrative around peacebuilding within EU policies, improving how the EU supports peace in practice, and strengthening engagement in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. Particular attention is given to gender equality, inclusive participation and evidence-based policymaking.
These objectives provide a shared direction for EPLO’s activities, including policy engagement, dialogue with EU institutions and collaboration among member organisations. By clarifying priorities and expected outcomes, the framework aims to ensure that EPLO’s work continues to support more effective and coherent EU action for peace.
