This CSDN Meeting Communication gathers the recommendations discussed during the CSDN Advanced Training Seminar on ‘Engaging with the European Union on Women, Peace and Security (WPS)’, held from 21 to 23 September 2026. The seminar brought together 24 participants from peacebuilding civil society organisations.
It was convened in the context of the renewal of the EU’s Action Plan on WPS and the consultations expected to start this autumn 2026. The document reflects the range of views shared during the seminar and covers thematic priorities for the next Action Plan, recommendations on implementation, and recommendations on the drafting and consultation process.
Finally, it closes with a set of key recommendations for EU engagement.
