Youth participation in peacebuilding was the focus of this CSDN contribution to the second EU Youth, Peace and Security Conference and the broader YPS Week.
Specific sessions organised through the CSDN explored the development of Youth, Peace and Security National Action Plans, as well as links between the YPS agenda and other policy areas such as EU accession, Women, Peace and Security, climate security and emerging technologies.
The wider conference gathered more than 200 participants, including young peacebuilders from over 85 countries, EU institutions, Member States, partner governments and international organisations.
Within this framework, the CSDN sessions involved 37 participants selected through an application process.
