As global political dynamics continue to change, this CSDN Policy Meeting examined how the European Union can strengthen its Women, Peace and Security agenda.
The discussion brought together EU representatives, practitioners and civil society organisations to reflect on the future direction of the EU’s work on Gender, Peace and Security.
Participants also considered how the WPS agenda could contribute to broader debates on peace and security governance, particularly as the EU prepares new external action programming and gender policies.
The one-day event gathered around 100 participants. The programme included a keynote address, high-level panel discussions, interactive group sessions and opportunities for networking.
