Understanding how the European Union works as a foreign policy actor was at the centre of this CSDN Training Seminar. Over three days, participants explored the EU’s institutional capacity in conflict prevention and peacebuilding, including both its limitations and its potential.
The training also looked at practical ways civil society organisations can engage for stronger EU policies and programmes in these areas. Through concrete examples, participants gained insight into how engagement with EU institutions can help improve support for peacebuilding.
The seminar gathered 25 representatives from civil society organisations interested in the dialogue on EU funding for peacebuilding. As participation was limited, attendees were selected through an application process.
