Strengthening partnerships for Peace was the central theme of this CSDN Member States Meeting in Rome.
The meeting provided a space for policymakers, mediation experts and practitioners to exchange views ahead of the 7th EU Community of Practice and EU Peace Week scheduled for October 2025.
Discussions focused on how cooperation can adapt to evolving conflict dynamics. Participants also explored possibilities for joint mediation initiatives and ways to address political and operational challenges that affect peacebuilding efforts.
Around 30 participants attended the one-day roundtable, including representatives from EU institutions, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and civil society organisations.
