Over three days in Brussels, this CSDN Training Seminar gave civil society practitioners from peacebuilding organisations a deep grounding in how the EU works on conflict prevention and peacebuilding, and how to engage with it more effectively.
The programme combined interactive plenary sessions with small group work, offering space to discuss key trends in EU peacebuilding, share experiences of previous engagement, and hear directly from EU officials. Participants also had the opportunity to visit the European Parliament and work through group exercises on engagement strategies.
The seminar was designed for practitioners interested in engaging with EU institutions, and included a mix of EPLO staff, member organisation representatives and EU officials as trainers and resource persons.
