The European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) is the independent civil society platform of European NGOs, networks of NGOs and think tanks which are committed to peacebuilding and the prevention of violent conflict.
26/10/2020: EPLO has published a statement entitled ‘A new Africa-EU Strategy: Recommendations for EU support to peace and security in the framework of a renewed Africa-EU Partnership‘.
05/10/2020: EPLO and seven other NGOs have published a joint statement on funding for the Neighbourhood Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI) and the Humanitarian Aid Instrument (HAI) in the next EU Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF).
21/09/2020: To mark this year’s International Day of Peace, the EPLO office released a new video entitled ‘You can build peace‘, and shared quotes from various women peacebuilders who were asked the following question: ‘What qualities make for a successful peacebuilding leader?’.
EPLO has 41 member organisations from 16 European countries (12 EU Member States plus Kosovo, Norway, Switzerland and the United Kingdom). EPLO’s members are individual NGOs, networks of NGOs, and think tanks.
