Funding for Peace

The main objectives of EPLO’s Funding for Peace Working Group (FfP WG) are derived from EPLO’s Policy Objective 2: To secure increased resources for conflict prevention and peacebuilding.

The FfP WG aims to ensure an increase in the amount of EU resources which are specifically allocated in support of civilian peacebuilding and conflict prevention activities and that peacebuilding and the prevention of violent conflict are mainstreamed throughout the EU’s external financing instruments.

The FfP WG’s activities are focused on the EU’s external financing instruments (Instrument contributing to Stability and Peace, European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights, Development Co-operation Instrument etc.), the annual EU budget and the long-term EU multiannual financial framework.
