Activities

EPLO’s policy work is led by working groups and ad hoc groups on EU policies on conflict prevention and peacebuilding.

EPLO’s member state advocacy includes EU Member States meetings organised in the framework of EU-funded projects and related advocacy activities, e.g. preparation of background papers.

The ongoing project EPLO is involved in is the EU-funded Civil Society Dialogue Network (CSDN) project.

Academic Friends of EPLO is an informal network of academics working on peacebuilding and conflict issues, and/or the role of the EU in peacebuilding worldwide.

This Community of Practice among EPLO members focuses on supporting the staff that will design, implement or advise on their organisations’ communications and advocacy.

Training includes training seminars organised in the framework of the Civil Society Dialogue Network project and upcoming training seminars given by EPLO and non-EPLO member organisations.

EPLO Brown Bag Lunch events are 1 – 1.5 hour-long, informal round-table discussions on a wide range of geographic and thematic topics with relevance for the EU and its support for peacebuilding and conflict prevention.

Other events are events organised by EPLO in co-operation with EPLO or non-EPLO member organisations on conflict prevention and peacebuilding.

The Project Archive includes former EU-funded projects which EPLO was involved in.
