Consultations led by Franck Bousquet, World Bank Group’s Senior Director for Fragility, Conflict and Violence

The World Bank Group is developing a new Strategy for Fra ankgility, Conflict and Violence (FCV). The overarching objective of the Strategy is to address the drivers of FCV in affected countries and their impact on vulnerable populations, with the ultimate goal of contributing to peace and prosperity. Once finalised, the Strategy will serve as a comprehensive framework to guide and systematise the Bank Group’s engagement in these complex and challenging environments. To inform the drafting of the Strategy, the World Bank Group is seeking views and ideas from stakeholders around the world on how it can deliver more effectively in FCV.

The consultation meeting with Brussels-based civil society will take place on 14 June 2019 from 13.00 to 15.00.
