‘How much is a dollar worth? Understanding value in peacebuilding and violence prevention’ is part of a webinar series which DME for Peace are hosting. DME for Peace is a global community of practitioners, evaluators, donors, and academics who share best and emerging practices on how to design, monitor, and evaluate peacebuilding programs. Through greater collaboration and transparency we hope to increase the effectiveness of the peacebuilding field.
In this webinar, donor Milt Lauenstein will discuss his focus on understanding the cost-effectiveness of different peacebuilding approaches. He will talk about the origins of this interest, how cost-effectiveness fits into a larger monitoring and evaluation conversation, and cost-effectiveness research to date. Milt is a member of Alliance for Peacebuilding, Peace and Security Funders Group and the sole funder of the Purdue Peace Project.
