The event is to mark the International Day of Peace by raising awareness of EU staff and stakeholders of the situation and role of women, children and youth in peacebuilding in light of the UNSCRs 1325 and 2250 and respective EU commitments.

The event will finish with the screening of the documentary ‘The value of women in the Congo’, winner of the 2013 Irish Council of Civil Liberties Film Awards.
