The first few months of 2023 have been rough for women peacebuilders.

Yet, despite the challenges they’ve faced: Peace Direct’s women-led partners are making a real difference in communities around the world. And they would love to tell you more about their work!

Join Peace Direct on Thursday 13 April as it celebrates the early successes of 2023 and look forward to everything Peace Direct and its local partners have planned for the rest of the year.

The Deputy CEO, Harriet Knox-Brown, will be your host for the evening. She will be joined by Kaltumi Abdulazeez, from Peace Direct’s partner in northern Nigeria – the Ladies Empowerment Goals and Support Initiative (LEGASI). Kaltumi will tell us about LEGASI’s efforts to empower women to break cycles of violence in their communities.

There is no fee to attend, but Peace Direct hopes you’ll donate what you can, if you can, now or during the event. Big or small, whatever you give will help support vital peacebuilding work around the world.
