Women subjected to sexual violence in war and conflict is a phenomenon since ancient times. Sexual violence is used as a way to execute power and humiliate the opponent, but it is also a cheap weapon of war with long-term effects. How can we support women in talking about their experiences regarding sexual violence in conflict-affected areas?
In connection with the Holocaust Memorial Day, we and The Living History Forum invite you to watch this panel discussion about sexual violence and its consequences.
The discussion will be live-streamed in English on the Facebook page of Kvinna till Kvinna (@kvinnatillkvinna) January 25th, 17:30 CEST.
