The European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) is the independent civil society platform of European NGOs, networks of NGOs and think tanks which are committed to peacebuilding and the prevention of violent conflict.
14/06/2016: EPLO published a statement entitled ‘Taking Forward the Post-2015 Peace Goal‘. The purpose of this statement, which is a follow-up to the 2013 statement ‘Putting Peace at the Heart of the Post-2015 Framework‘, is to assess the extent to which EPLO’s recommendations from 2013 were incorporated into the 2030 Agenda and the accompanying Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
31/05/2016: EPLO has sent a letter on the upcoming EU Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy to High Representative / Vice-President Federica Mogherini.
29/04/2016: EPLO is delighted to welcome a new member organisation: the Institute for Integrated Transitions. Its membership application was approved by the EPLO General Assembly during its meeting on 28 April 2016 in Brussels, Belgium.
08/03/2016: On the occasion of the 2016 International Women’s Day, EPLO has published a statement entitled: ‘Where are the EU’s Women Leaders in Foreign Affairs? One Year On‘.
EPLO has 38 member organisations from 14 European countries (11 EU Member States plus Kosovo, Norway and Switzerland). EPLO’s members are individual NGOs, networks of NGOs, and think tanks.
