The European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO) is organising a training seminar on advocacy towards the EU on funding for peacebuilding on 9 – 10 March 2017 in Brussels.

The training seminar, which is being organised in the framework of the Civil Society Dialogue Network (CSDN), aims to enable participants: (1) To increase their understanding of the EU’s external funding programmes and the EU institutions and processes involved in their delivery; and (2) To develop potential advocacy strategies on EU funding for peacebuilding.

The training seminar is open to representatives from civil society organisations (CSOs) based in Europe or in the EU’s partner countries who are interested in undertaking advocacy on EU funding for peacebuilding.

Priority will be given to applicants with professional experience in peacebuilding, EU advocacy and/or EU funding. Accommodation and travel costs for non-Brussels-based participants will be covered.
